We live in the fitness and wellness community.  We aren’t coders who built a tracking platform–we are people with a vested interest in our own health.   We were tired of being charged transactionally for 8 or 10 different applications, and spending $30-40 a month for something that could be achieved much more cost-effectively and with a much better integration between the data.

We strongly believe that knowing what you are eating and the nutritional value thereof is of first importance. Following as a close second, we believe that exercise and the knowledge that you are exercising efficiently and effectively are similarly important. However, just like any platform or any coaching, the platform only works when you do.  So, it’s impossible to make any promises, and we would be remiss to do so. However, we maintain that if you commit yourself to proper nutrition and exercise alongside proper recovery and sleep, you will find the success that you are after in due time.

To be candid, if what you’re doing already is working for you, you shouldn’t.  There’s no immediate reason that what you’re doing cannot continue to work.  There are some cases in which things work in spite of our actions rather than because of them.  What we mean is that you may find that you can do better with better tools.  Is this always the case?  Absolutely not.  Is this often the case?  More often than you’d think.  Sometimes we’re so committed to succeeding and so enamored by our success that we stop searching out new paths and tools for greater progress and success.

The answer to this question is growing daily.  We offer (or will soon offer) tracking of food intake and micronutrient density, meal planning, and exercise tracking.  Second phase improvements include the ability to track fasting, sleep-wake times, sleep, recovery, and perceived exertion data. We will also support monthly cycle tracking. The social communities feature and the ability to create your own profile, join groups, and participate in conversations is a feature we are most proud of.  Future plans include greater integration with other apps for niche cases, as well as more robust graphical tracking of results, and a professional coaching option where (if you are a coach) you can coach clients within the platform, complete with contact and feedback options.

Anyone who wants to improve their health or to better understand the impact of food and exercise on how they feel can benefit from the use of AtGo Fitness.  There’s a trial period that incurs no cost or obligation, and we’d encourage you to give it a try.  Is it for everyone?  No.  But we believe that a large number of people would benefit from tracking and training.

The best answer to this question is – it depends.  Can our app help you to lose body fat and to improve your body composition?  Absolutely.  The clinical and research data on accurate tracking of food intake, exercise activity, and similar factors is resoundingly clear that tracking data and using it to make informed decisions about your health are the fastest and most direct path to improved health and, presumably, your goal of weight loss.  But we want to be so much more than that – we want to serve as your partner in health and a community for the pursuit of better outcomes. To that end, this is why we stay so tuned in to our community’s needs and work to do our best to bring updates based on that feedback. Our efforts are tied tightly to the research data on how this work can positively impact your life.

Today, the answer is no.  However, in the very near-term future, we will have a professional-level access that will permit you to communicate directly with your clients, to create groups that are unique to your community of clients, and to access their progress so that you can provide meaningful coaching feedback.  We are presently working with a small group of coaches to get their insight on the services that are needed to make a meaningful solution available to them.  If you’d like to know more about that, feel free to drop an email to us.
